Hi there. My name is Mathew Ingram, and until recently I was the chief digital writer for the Columbia Journalism Review in New York. I live in Canada. I post things I've written for work here, and other things that interest me, but I also publish and crosspost a daily newsletter called When The Going Gets Weird that is filled with interesting links, and a more serious newsletter with my thoughts about technology and culture called The Torment Nexus.
love this shirt. Love his works. April 2019 I was attacked & beaten in the head. Ears were ringing when this happened & hasn’t stopped since. I’m left with bilateral Meniere’s. It’s continued to get worse for the past 7 years. I paint also & can relate to how Van Gogh must have felt. Constant tinnitus, vertigo, drop attacks, falls, nystagmus, lay down & room spins, nausea, multiple broken bones from falls, concussion from falls that have lead to seizures. So I seldom leave our house.
I want one of these shirts. Something to lighten this condition. I totally understand Van Gogh cutting his ear off.
