Like my fellow organizers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robhyndman.com\">Rob<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/evans.blogware.com\/blog\/_archives\/2006\/4\/5\/1862796.html\">Mark<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meshconference.com\/blog\/post.php?id=40\">Stuart<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelmcderment.com\/article\/mesh-Conference-Schedule-is-Now-Up.html\">Mike<\/a>, I am incredibly charged up about the speakers we have been able to attract to talk about blogs and Web 2.0 and all the implications of &#8220;citizen media&#8221; or the &#8220;social Web&#8221; or whatever you want to call it. Are bloggers journalists? Is podcasting the future of broadcast? Can wikis help level the political playing field?
