{"id":2354,"date":"2008-04-20T10:18:26","date_gmt":"2008-04-20T15:18:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mathewingram.com\/work\/?p=2354"},"modified":"2008-04-20T10:18:26","modified_gmt":"2008-04-20T15:18:26","slug":"ze-frank-project-young-me-now-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mathewingram.com\/work\/2008\/04\/20\/ze-frank-project-young-me-now-me\/","title":{"rendered":"Ze Frank project: Young me, now me"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ze_Frank\">Ze Frank<\/a>, the creator of the legendary Web-video feature known simply as &#8220;the show,&#8221; has a new project I just found out about called &#8220;Young Me, Now Me&#8221; &#8212; the idea being that you take a photo of yourself in the same pose as a picture of yourself <a href=\"http:\/\/colorwar2008.com\/submissions\/youngnow\">from when you were young<\/a>, and submit it to Ze. Some of the shots are pretty funny.  As with many of Ze&#8217;s projects, including the recent <a href=\"http:\/\/avantgame.blogspot.com\/2008\/03\/great-interent-color-wars-of-2008.html\">Twitter &#8220;color wars,&#8221;<\/a> there&#8217;s no obvious goal for the contest, which ends today. Will people get to vote on the best? It&#8217;s not clear. That&#8217;s half of the fun of Ze&#8217;s ideas &#8212; the fact that there&#8217;s no obvious purpose other than to do something interesting.
