But I must admit that I didn&#8217;t expect the company to <a href=\"http:\/\/biz.yahoo.com\/prnews\/071022\/aqm220.html\">blow the doors off<\/a>. Profit up 67 per cent, revenue up almost 30 per cent &#8212; for a company with annual sales of almost $25-billion, that is an incredible performance. Analysts were expecting 85 cents a share in profit and Apple made $1.01.
